Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Ready Set Go Adventure LLC ("Ready Set Go", "we", "us"). They cover www.readysetgoadventure.com, the Ready Set Go community, the Trip Planner and the Ready Set Go app (together, "the Service").

You agree to these terms when you tick "I agree" while signing up. If you don't agree, please don't create an account. You can still browse our public pages.

2. Who can join

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You'll enter your date of birth when you sign up so we can confirm your age.
• If you are 16 or 17, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms for you, and they are responsible for your use of the Service.
• One person, one account. Use your real email address and confirm it, keep your password private, and don't share your account.
• Don't pretend to be someone else, and don't make a new account to get around a mute or suspension.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used it.

3. Your content

"Your content" means anything you post or upload: photos, videos, reels, music, comments, trip plans and your profile.

You own your content. Ready Set Go never takes ownership of anything you upload.

What you let us do with it. So the Service can work, you give us permission to store, copy, resize, convert and show your content to the people you choose (Only me, Friends or Public). This permission is free, non-exclusive and only lasts while your content is on the Service. We will never sell your content, and we won't use it in ads or outside the Service without asking you first.

When you upload, you promise that:

• You took, made or have the right to share it, including any music, and you have permission from anyone clearly shown in it (a parent's permission for any child).
• It doesn't break anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy.
• It follows our Community Guidelines and the law.

Removing content. You can delete any of your posts, comments or reels at any time, and they come off the Service right away. We can remove or hide content that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines, or that we're legally required to take down.

Copyright complaints. If you believe something on the Service uses your work without permission, email readysetgoadventure25@gmail.com with a link to it and proof that it's yours. We'll review it and remove it if it infringes.

4. Community rules and moderation

Our Community Guidelines are part of these terms. In short: be kind, keep it about adventure, respect privacy, share safely, post only what's yours, and no illegal, sexual, hateful or violent content.

If you break the terms or the guidelines, we may warn you, hide or remove content, mute you (you can read but not post) for a set time, or suspend or close your account. We'll email you what happened and why. Serious or repeated problems can lead straight to suspension.

Anyone can report a post, comment or member. Reports are private: the person reported is never told who reported them. Content reported by three different members is hidden until a moderator reviews it.

4a. Chats

• You can chat with friends, and send one message to a member who isn't your friend. You can send more once they reply.
• Chats are private to the people in them. Ready Set Go doesn't read them, with two exceptions: our moderators see a single message if someone reports it, and our admins may look at kept messages when needed for safety, to investigate abuse or a threat, or when the law requires it.
• Chats are kept for 30 days. Every message, photo and meetup is deleted automatically 30 days after it's sent. A reported message is kept until a moderator has dealt with the report.
• When you delete a message, it disappears for everyone right away and is deleted for good at its 30 days.
• Kept messages stay only on our own server. They're never sold, shared with advertisers, or sent anywhere else, unless the law requires it or someone's safety is at risk.
• The Community Guidelines apply in chats too.
• For members who joined before October 24, 2026, this section and the chat parts of section 5 apply from November 7, 2026. We emailed you about it.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from Profile & privacy › Delete my account. When you do, we delete your information. We don't keep it.

Deleted right away:

• Your posts, photos, videos and reels, with the likes, comments and reports on them
• Your comments and likes on other members' posts
• Your trips, and every shared trip link
• Your traveler profile, photo, banner and "Places I've been"
• Your friends, friend requests, blocks, tags and group memberships
• Your name, email address and photo, plus any newsletter sign-ups

Kept for safety: your chat messages and chat photos are hidden from everyone right away but kept on our server, where only our admins can reach them, for 30 days after you delete your account, in case they're needed to look into abuse or a safety problem. Then they're deleted automatically.

Backups: we keep nightly backups for up to 14 days so we can recover from a crash: one on our server and one copy in a separate place we control. Your information drops out of both automatically within 14 days and is never restored to the live site.

We can't bring a deleted account back, so save anything you want to keep first.

6. Your information

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. In short: we only use your information to run the Service, everything starts private, and we never sell or rent your information or share it with advertisers.

7. Outdoor safety and trip information

• You're responsible for your own safety. Hiking, swimming, driving and other outdoor activities carry real risks, including injury and death. You choose your activities and take on those risks.
• Check before you go. Trail conditions, closures, permits, weather and hours change. Our guides, the Trip Planner and member posts are for ideas and planning only. Always confirm with official sources such as the park, forest service or local authorities.
• Members' advice is their own. Ready Set Go doesn't check or guarantee what members post.
• Links and partners. Some pages link to other businesses, and a few links may earn us a small commission at no cost to you. Those businesses have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them.

8. The legal basics

• The Service is free and provided "as is". We work to keep it running and safe, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free or secure.
• Limits on our liability. To the extent the law allows, Ready Set Go Adventure LLC is not liable for injuries, losses or damages that come from your trips or activities, from other members' content or conduct, or from using the Service. Because the Service is free, any liability we do have is limited to $100.
• Changes to these terms. If we make an important change, we'll email members and update the date at the top at least 14 days before it takes effect. Using the Service after that date means you accept the change.
• Ending things. You can leave at any time (section 5). We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
• Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Benton County, Washington.
